There are 6 amulets strung in red/black thread. A salute to Rajasthani craftsmanship. Each amulet is 2 inches long including the bell details at the bottom. Do remember that these amulets are hollow and are not chunky blocks of silver. That is why the piece is lighter and wearable. Plus it is also makes it affordable too.
There are 5 smaller beads shaped like mango ( or i like to think so ) on each side. It adds another dimension to the necklace. Because the necklace is so old, there are no hallmarks. I think the metal could be 70-80% silver.
Another thing to note here, because it is so old, it has a beautiful patina on it. I haven‘t cleaned it all. For collectors, it is a huge deal for something to be untouched and unchanged. So i am keeping it as it. I would suggest keeping it as is too because it keeps its charm.
