A tiny charming high grade silver necklace from the southern part of Yemen (Al-Qusayyar, southern Hadramaut coast) featuring red glass beads, cage beads, 4 decorative tiny hirzes, 2 cones, granulated spacers and a small central Hirz decorated with a floral motif.
The Hirz or Kutub are worn to protect oneself against something that frightens the bearer; the amulet will give him strength to fight his fear. The effect can only be felt by the bearer and by the jeweller who has received the order to manufacture the amulet for a special purpose.
All in all a wonderful necklace, absolutely rare to find in such perfect conditions and offered at a very special price.
